Weekly Maintenance Checklist

Twenty minutes a week beats a green-pool rescue. Test first so you know what the water needs, do the physical cleaning, then correct chemistry and check the equipment.

Test

Test at least free chlorine and pH — these move fastest and drive everything else. Water balance calculator

Clean

Skim floating debris off the surface.
Brush the walls, steps, and any dead spots where circulation is weak.
Vacuum the floor, or confirm the robot ran and emptied it.
Empty the skimmer and pump baskets.

Correct & check

Adjust chlorine back to target for your CYA, and nudge pH if it has drifted. Chlorine calculator
Check filter pressure — backwash or clean it once it runs about 8-10 psi over its clean baseline.
Check the water level and listen to the equipment for new leaks or noise.
