Terms of Use

What this site does

mypool.tools provides free pool and hot tub calculators, guides, checklists, and comparison tools. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

Not professional advice

All information on this site is for general educational purposes only. Our calculators provide estimates based on standard pool chemistry formulas published by the CDC, EPA, and APSP/PHTA. They are not a substitute for professional pool service, water testing by a certified lab, or product manufacturer instructions.

Always read and follow product label directions. Always test your water before and after adding chemicals. Never mix chemicals. If you're unsure about any treatment, consult a licensed pool professional.

Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure our formulas and information are accurate and up to date. However, pool chemistry depends on many variables (temperature, sunlight, bather load, water source, equipment condition) that a calculator cannot fully account for. Results are starting-point estimates, not exact prescriptions.

Limitation of liability

This site and its tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for any damage to pool surfaces, equipment, or any injury resulting from the use of information or calculations from this site. You use all tools and follow all advice at your own risk.
